Meeting between nature and artifice: Ode to the trees
The place presents a unique moment: Nature with its mountains and vegetation meets the city: the rationality, the artificial. Without detracting from the architectural heritage, the trees on the university’s campus are majestic, imposing, unique. With that in mind, the building geometry mirrors the canopy of 5 surrounding trees. The architecture (the artifice) pays tribute to the natural achieving a symbiotic relationship where both elements are enhanced and complemented
