About

We design worldwide, we build locally. It does not matter the size of your project or your dream we are here to chat!
Beauty does not have a size

Obreval
We grew to create a new team to deepen our historical construction expertise with design innovation and art exploration. Based in New York and Bogotá we design worldwide and buid locally. Our interest in architecture design lies in the mixture, balance, or contradiction characteristic of the discipline of being art and science at the same time. This “contradiction” is rooted in the beauty of the rites (materialized in the tower, the labyrinth, etc.) and the pragmatism of the protection (materialized in The Primitive Hut, the clothing, etc.). We are convinced that, within these paradoxes, our design generates new and unique spaces that enrich everyday life

Fernando Zarama

Fernando's long and rich experience is rooted in a profound understanding of materials, techniques, and local craftsmanship. Fernando holds a Bachelor os Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with a laurated thesis distinction. During his 20s Fernando worked with David Manzur exploring pencil and carbon drawings focusing his interest in horses and its natural beauty. His art sensibility configured his life and career. Fernando enjoys his free time playing golf with his family.

Pablo Zarama
holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Cornell University. Pablo won the Cornell Architecture Merit Scholarship and the “Mary Miller Lyons Graduate Fellowship in Architecture”. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad de los Andes with a cum laude degree distinction. He has lectured at Cornell University exploring the evolution of the villa and the private home. Finally, Pablo is obsessed with Moleskine Notebooks.
